Bellburns: Located in a small cove north of Daniel's Harbour on the west coast of the Great Northem Peninsula, Bellbums was settled in the 1860s.
The town was most likely named after a family whose surname was "Belben", a family name that was popular in the nearby area of Glenburnie, Bonne Bay. The population in 2016 was recorded as 53, down 14.5% from the count of 62 of recorded earlier in 2011.
