Glenwood: Located on the west side of the Gander River, Glenwood was named after the Glenwood Lumber Company, a logging company located in Glenwood, NS.

The company began a logging operation in the area in the 1890s. The population in 2016 was 778, a 1.6% decrease from the 791 of 2011.
