BELLE BAY:
Looking at the map, it is easy to see that Belle Bay (translated from French to mean "beautiful bay") is really part of Fortune Bay (ie., a bay within a bay), however in the minds of Cook and Lane it deserved to be label in UPPERCASE script.
At the eastern coast of the bay is the community of Bay L'Argent which is the eastem terminus of the ferry that crosses the bay.
In western head of the bay is the community of Pool's Cove, the western terminus of the ferry.
