Tiky Tie Hook (Bay): Tiky Tie Hook is one of those "only in Newfoundland" name!
It should be noted that a hook is defined, in terms of topological terms, as the "curled end of a coastal spit stretching across and tending to block an estuary or bay".
From this definition it is possible that a "hook" and a "haha" are very similar (see Ha Ha Bay).
Looking for information, all that could be obtained were its longitude and latitude (49.6069445 -55.9361111) which puts it near the town of Springdale, NL.
This is a case of a "bay within a bay within a bay".
Tiky Tie Hook (as it is known) is not shown on the Cook and Lane Chart however, neither is the bay that it is in, Halls Bay is not shown, in fact when you look at the 1775 charts this area is not very well surveyed and there are long stretches of land/water that are not named.
