142 TABLE LAND DR |
Newfoundland Tourism Region : Western
Lomond: Located in Bonne Bay, the town was originally known as Murphy's Cove after an early settler. It was renamed in 1921 (after Loch Lomond in Scotland) by the Scottish woods manager of the St. Lawrence Timber, Pulp and Shipping Co.
The town has since been resettled and the land is now part of the park land in Gros Morne National Park.
