Because of its name, Confusion Bay, even though it is a relatively small bay is included in this section.
On the Cook and Lane chart is listed as "Pacquet Harbor", so its name is more recent that the late 18th century.
Today at the western edge of the bay is the town of Pacquet; the eastern edge is known today as Brent's Cove.
The derivation of the name is unknown, and all the usual sources of information did not yield any clues. Confusing, eh? For Pacquet see section on Names of Unknown Origin.
