ELEPHANT BAY:
An odd name to say the least, given that there are no elephants roaming the forests of the island or the mainland. In fact, the only reference in the ENL, found for "elephant" was referring to The Newfoundland Safety Council's school safety talks, which has as its mascot, Elmer the Safety Elephant.
Using the longitude and latitude information (53.783416 -66.399285), it turns out that Elephant Bay in the interior of Labrador on Menihek Lake, near the community of Churchill Falls.
