Chamberlains: The town of Chamberlains was originally known as Chamberlain (i.c., no "s") and is thought to be named after Reverend George Chamberlain, whose first wife, Julia (Brown) Chamberlain, who drowned on Feb. 4, 1868 in a boating mishap.
